SHELBYVILLE, Ky. —
Two men are facing charges after police seized 100 pounds of meth during a traffic stop in Shelbyville.
The Jeffersontown Police Department, DEA, IRS-Criminal Investigations, Appalachia HIDTA, and Shelby County Sheriff's Office were conducting a joint narcotics investigation.
Police said the Shelby County Sheriff's Office stopped a semi on March 30. When deputies searched the trailer, they found around 100 pounds of crystal meth worth $900,000 in suitcases.
