ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (WAVE) - Five people have been arrested on drug charges after search warrants were served in two counties following an investigation that lasted several months.
The Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force had been investigating the trafficking of crystal meth. Detectives say more than 18 pounds of crystal meth had been bought and sold in and around Hardin, Bullitt, LaRue and Hart counties during the investigation.
Authorities have identified the five arrested as:
Kenneth Jason Moore, 42, of Louisville
- Trafficking in meth
- Trafficking in anabolic steroid
- Trafficking in a controlled substance
- Was also wanted on four warrants
- Bond: $100,000 cash or property
Robert Gregory Clan, 50, of Magnolia
- Trafficking in meth
- Trafficking in marijuana
- Possession of a handgun by a felon
- Tampering with physical evidence
- Bond: $25,000 cash
Thomas William McCubbins, 39, of Magnolia
- Trafficking in meth
- Trafficking in opiates
- Trafficking in marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Bond: $5,000 cash
Dometric Diane Jones, 34, of Magnolia
- Trafficking in meth
- Trafficking in opiates
- Trafficking in marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Bond: $5,000 cash
Cynthia Ann Hawkins, 49, of Magnolia
- Trafficking in meth
- Trafficking in marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- No bond information available
Moore is being in the Bullitt County Detention Center. The others are being held in the Hart County Jail. Several other suspects are still at large.
Authorities say they seized more than five pounds of crystal meth, three pounds of marijuana and over $15,000 in cash. Also seized were handguns, firearms, multiple doses of Xanax, hydrocodone, OxyContin and other pain pills.
